Assessment and evidence
Certificates and your CPD record
A certificate is only worth something if it is backed by an assessment somebody could fail. Here is how ours work, and what your school can see.
How it works
-
Learn first, then be assessed
You work through the course material at your own pace, on any device, stopping and returning where you left off. The assessment comes after the learning, not instead of it.
-
Every question counts
Every question must be answered, and there is a pass mark. Fall short and you go back to the material rather than to a second guess.
-
A certificate on passing, and only then
Pass and a certificate is issued in your name against your record, ready to download or print. There is no route to a certificate without passing.
-
Your record, in one place
Your completed courses and certificates sit together in your account, so you are not searching an inbox the week before an inspection.
Common questions
What happens if I fail the assessment?
You are taken back through the material and can take it again. Nothing is lost and nobody is told.
Can I download and print a certificate?
Yes, from your record, as often as you need it.
Do courses expire?
Some do, because the guidance behind them changes. Where a course has a renewal period you will see it, and your school can be reminded before it lapses.
Can my school see my certificates?
Your school can see the training it assigned you and whether you have completed it. That is what makes the training record worth keeping.
