Lesson Planner

Tell it the year group, subject, topic and the objective you are working towards. It returns a timed plan with a starter, main activities, adaptation for the pupils who need it, an assessment opportunity and a plenary. Edit anything you disagree with, then print it or keep it in your account and reuse it next year.

What we mean by an AI tool for school

A general chatbot compared with A Teach HQ tool
A general chatbot A Teach HQ tool
You write the prompt, and rewrite it until the answer is usable. You fill in a short form about your class. The prompt is our job.
Output you then have to reformat before anybody can use it. Output laid out for the classroom and ready to print or export.
Consumer terms, and no clear answer about where the text goes. UK GDPR terms, and a written account of what the model sees.
No idea whether it matches what you are meant to be teaching. Built around year group, subject and objective from the first field.

In the workshop

These are the tools we are working on now. None of them is available yet — they appear on this page the week they go live, and we would rather tell you where we are going than surprise you.

  • Worksheet builder

A differentiated worksheet for a topic and year group, with an answer sheet.

  • Quiz builder

A retrieval quiz for any topic, exportable to the quizzing tools schools already use.

  • Knowledge organiser

Key vocabulary, facts and diagrams for a unit, on one page.

  • Report comments

Report text from strengths and next steps you enter, in your own tone.

  • SEND adaptation

A resource rewritten for the pupils in your class who need it differently.

  • Policy summariser

A long policy turned into what a member of staff actually has to do.
